Series of conversation on the role of art in urban renewal projects
Fondazione Made in Cloister is located in a so called urban suburb. Therefore one of its main purposes is to investigate the potentiality and the role of art in urban renewal processes, revolving around the idea of how art can be an engine and attractor in the development and wellbeing processes of suburbs.
The Foundation constantly interacts with the area of Porta Capuana and its population, involving them in all the activities and cultural projects.
One of the outcome of this process is a cycle of conversations that aim to develop the topic of art and rigeneration from different points of view: art, politic, institutions, economy and tourism. Each time the conversation gets its inspiration from the ongoing site specific exhibition.
