Diana Lola Posani is a sound artist, vocal performer, and Deep Listening facilitator.
She performs internationally, contributes to A Row of Trees, the journal of the Sonic Art Research Unit (SARU) at Oxford Brookes University, and curates the sound art festival AKRIDA. Her current work focuses on the shared space between sound and poetic imagination through interdisciplinary works and sound poetry.

Her work has been featured in contexts such as the 2024 Venice Art Biennale, the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome as part of the SHORT THEATRE program, the MADRE Museum of Contemporary Art in Naples, the Museum of 20th and Contemporary Art Palazzo Fabroni in Pistoia, the Museum of Oriental Art, and the Merz Foundation in Turin.

For years, she has been engaged in raising awareness about the meaning of listening—for musicians and non-musicians alike—through seminars held at the IUAV University of Venice (Master in Performing Arts), the MACRO Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome, and the Academies of Fine Arts in Bologna and Marseille.

In March 2023, her Italian translation of Pauline Oliveros' Deep Listening – The Sound Practice of a Composer was published by Timeo. In December 2023, she translated and wrote the afterword for Oliveros’ Quantum Listening, and in November 2024, she contributed both a translation and an essay for Meditazioni sonore, also by Oliveros.
